By no means I consider myself a D&B/Liquid Funk DJ at all, but these sounds, and it’s variables, have been in my heart for many yrs. I remember back when I was just listening to Downtempo tunesand came across Kruder & Dorfmeister’s DJ Kicks…holy shit, it blew my mind the way they were mixing the D&B and the Downtempo stuff. Before that D&B was crazy ass music, but they showed me the beauty of Liquid and I’ve been listening to it since!

Here I didn’t mix the Liquid with the Downtempo, as I planned to have a short mix. I really like this mix, but I still feel like those downtempo tunes need to be here, so that’s why it’s “Vol 1.” The second Volume will come sometime I DON’T KNOW WHEN, but I’ll record it someday. In the meantime, enjoy this one…
